Spring is here which means it’s time to get started on all the projects that have been piling up over the past few months. To help you make the most of your time, we have put together a two part series that will give you ideas on which projects you should tackle both indoors and outdoors. Be sure to see our previous blog for a complete list of indoor projects.
Pruning your trees can make your yard look great and it can be used to remove potentially dangerous limbs that could cause damage in the future. Some smaller trees and bushes can be trimmed on your own, but larger trees should be pruned by professionals. They will be able to tell you which branches should be dropped and recommend other services that can protect your trees and your home.
During the fall and winter, rain and wind has splashed dirt and other materials onto your windows. Now that the weather is warming back up, it’s time to wipe the slate clean so you can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors from inside your home.
If your lawn is like mine, over the fall and winter your grass has started growing beyond the borders of your lawn. Keep your lawn looking sharp by cleaning up the edges with an edge trimmer. You should also use this time to remove any weeds before they begin to spread to other areas of your lawn or garden.
In addition to the normal trimming and clipping of lawn maintenance, spring is also a great time to plant new flowers and plants. In the spring, you can plant warm climate flowers or vegetables such as carrots, squash, peppers, and tomatoes. By planting vegetables, you can have a yard that looks great and produces food.
By following this list of projects, your outdoor space is sure to look great throughout the summer. For more home tips, continue following the SEA Construction blog or follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
