We are a full service Design and Build firm offering a variety of remodeling and design services to clientele throughout the Bay Area. Our team of designers, project managers, and craftsmen are dedicated to helping all of our clients reach their goals. We enjoy taking people through the process of design and construction to realize the objective of each unique project. We know that although we do this everyday, for you this may be a once in a lifetime experience. We work very hard to make sure the entire process is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.


Operations Department
The Operations Department is responsible for all aspects of quality assurance, customer satifaction, and account management


Design Department
Our Award Winning Design Department is comprised of a team of talented and dedicated designers. The Design Team works with the Client from the first meeting through the completion of construction. The Team is responsible for creating and coordinating preliminary design, design development, all construction documentation, and city permits for all projects. They work closely with all Clients to choose finishes, cabinetry, and any details necessary.


Production Department
The Production Department consists of highly trained and experienced Project Managers, Craftspeople, and Sub-Contractors. Our team works directly with Steven Albert, the Design Team, and the Office Manager to complete each job with the care and craftsmanship that our clients expect.


Operations Department


Steven Evans Albert is the CEO/President of S.E.A. Construction. Mr. Albert is a third generation builder. He began his construction career picking up nails at his father's job sites for 25 cents per house. He now has over 35 years of direct experience in construction, and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the trade. Mr. Albert works closely with the Design Department, Production Department, Administrative Department, and the Client to ensure a successful project.


Dennis Duca is the CFO/Controller for S.E.A. Construction. Mr. Duca has many years of experience in his field. He is responsible for the financial side of the business. Mr. Duca coordinates and manages all client billings with the various departments, subcontractors, and vendors.


The Design Team


Dave Byrens is the Head Architect for S.E.A. Construction. Mr. Byrens is a member of the American Institute of Architecture. He is an accomplished architect, and the Founder of Byrens and Associates, a successful Architecture Firm he established in 1979. Dave Byrens is a great asset to S.E.A. Construction. His years of experience bring a wealth of knowledge to both S.E.A. Construction, and the feasibility of projects to our elite clientele.


Rafael Gomez is the Director of Architectural Development for S.E.A. Construction. In addition to being a Certified Building Code Technician, Mr. Gomez brings 12 years of architectural design and 10 years of design/build management to his role at the company. His extensive design training, construction observation experience, and experience in project management for builders provides him with a unique ability to respond to both cost-effective and aesthetic desires of clients.

Rafael Gomez holds a Master of Architecture from a distinguished foreign University, "Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara", as well as a Bachelors of Science in Architecture.


Alie Varner, ASID is the Interior Design Director for S.E.A. Construction. Ms. Varner is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers with over 25 years in residential design. Her experience has included design work for homes and estates throughout Northern California, Southern California, and Hawaii. She has a strong background in residential builder related work from kitchen and bath remodels through the multiple phases of construction. Her years of design experience reflect a high-level of expertise to meet the needs and surpass the expectations of S.E.A. Construction clientele.




The Production Team


Rich Alfano is a Project Manager for S.E.A. Construction. He has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Alfano has experience working on both commercial and residential projects. He is also a fine craftsman. He owned his own cabinetry company where he built cabinetry by hand for a local furniture dealer. He has been with S.E.A. Construction as a Project Manager since 1998.


Tito Blandon is a Project Manager for S.E.A. Construction. He has over 21 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Blandon has experience as a journeyman, a carpenter, and a project manager. He has been with S.E.A. Construction as a Project Manager since 2002. He is bilingual speaking both English and Spanish fluently. Mr. Blandon is friendly and conscientious as well as easy to communicate with and reach.


Dan Kenny is a Project Manager for S.E.A. Construction. He was raised locally in San Mateo, CA. Mr. Kenny worked for remodeling contractors throughout his college years. He has over 29 years of experience in the trade. His previous work experience includes cabinetry sales and design, sales manager, framing, and project manager.


Steve Hirsch is a Project Manager for S.E.A. Construction, and the newest addition to the project management team. He brings with him over 20 years of experience as both a carpenter and project manager. His depth of experience ranges from the housing tracts of L.A. to the Victorians of San Francisco and everything in between. Mr. Hirsch's extensive knowledge of the remodel business and excellent communication skills make him a perfect addition to the S.E.A. Construction team.
